Supply chain

Supply chain (logistic chain) is a term used to describe the entire process and network of activities that are involved in the flow of materials, information, and funds from the initial supplier to the final customer. It is a complex system that includes various entities such as manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, storage facilities, carriers, and retailers.

The supply chain aims to ensure the efficient movement of goods and information from the point of production to the customer, while trying to minimize costs and increase customer satisfaction. It involves several key activities, including purchasing, warehousing, order processing, production planning, transportation, and distribution. Supply chain is becoming increasingly important in the world of globalization ande-commerce, where the need for efficient supply and logistics management on a global scale is severe.
